Nouwen House was first established in 1992
in Bridgetown, Western Australia as the South
West branch of Holyoake, offering support
and education to families affected by alcohol
or drug dependency.
Today 'Henri's' operates independently to
provide a number of support programs and services
to individuals and families experiencing crises
of all kinds: alcoholism, drug dependency,
relationship breakdown, domestic violence,
physical or sexual abuse, or loss of a loved
one. Henri's is a community based not-for-profit
organisation that is mainly staffed by volunteers
and funded independently, with some assistance
from local shires.
